What's Included

A complete estate plan.
Worth thousands. At no cost.

Qualifying families receive a full foundational estate plan — not a watered-down version. The same documents wealthy families pay top dollar for.

Revocable Living Trust

Keeps your estate out of probate and passes assets directly to your loved ones without court involvement.

Pour-Over Will

Ensures any assets outside your trust are transferred into it — a critical safety net for your estate plan.

Financial Power of Attorney

Authorizes someone you trust to manage finances if you become incapacitated — protecting your assets in crisis.

Healthcare Power of Attorney

Names the person you want making medical decisions on your behalf if you're unable to speak for yourself.

Advance Healthcare Directive

Documents your wishes about end-of-life care, so your family never has to guess — or argue — about what you wanted.

HIPAA Release

Allows authorized persons to access your medical information — essential for families navigating health emergencies.

Why It Matters

Probate is expensive,
slow, and avoidable.

Without a plan, your family doesn't get to grieve in peace. They get a judge. A process. And a bill.

Questions

Frequently asked.

There's no catch. The Raven Legacy Project is a nonprofit organization whose entire mission is to bring estate planning to families who couldn't otherwise access it. Our services are funded through charitable support and our partnership with Raven Trusts. Qualifying families pay nothing — not even a filing fee.
We evaluate each applicant individually based on need, circumstances, program capacity, and whether our services are a good fit. We encourage you to apply even if you're unsure — the application is free and there's no commitment.
No. Estate planning isn't only for the wealthy. If you own a home, have children, have a bank account, or simply want to decide who makes medical decisions for you if you can't — you need an estate plan. Many of the families we serve have modest assets, and that's exactly who we're here for.
After you apply, we review your application and contact you about next steps. If approved, we schedule an intake meeting, prepare your estate plan documents, review any requested changes, and coordinate signing and finalization.
Yes. Apply even if you're unsure. We review each application individually and will let you know whether the free program is available for your situation or whether another lower-cost option may be a better fit.
If you don't qualify for the free program, our sister company Raven Trusts offers low-cost, reduced-cost, and accessible estate planning services designed to be affordable for everyday families. We'll always do our best to point you in the right direction.
